Privacy Policy
In short
- Reanswer reads your email only after you connect your account, and only messages that arrive from that point on — not your mailbox history.
- Your reply drafts and mailbox access token are used to run the service, never sold, and never used for advertising.
- Email content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write and check your drafts, and to OpenAI's Whisper API if you send a voice message — that's the extent of third-party sharing.
- Your access token is encrypted at rest, and one command (
/delete_my_account) permanently erases everything.
1 Who this policy covers
This policy applies to Reanswer, an assistant that connects to your Gmail or Outlook mailbox and drafts reply suggestions, available through a Telegram bot, a Discord bot, a Gmail add-on, and an Outlook add-in.

2 What we collect
We collect only what's needed to run the service:

We do not read your mailbox's existing history — only messages that arrive after you connect your account, tracked incrementally from that point.
3 How we use it
- Generating a draft reply in your chosen style and the sender's language.
- Checking a message isn't something the draft flow should skip (spam-like, automated, unsafe to auto-draft).
- Detecting a message's category (e.g. receipt, newsletter, calendar invite) and any date or time worth surfacing to you.
- Improving future drafts to the same contact, based on edits you personally made — this stays scoped to your own account and isn't shared across users.
4 Who we share it with
We use a small number of processors to run the service, and share only what each one needs to do its job:
- Anthropic (Claude API) — receives email content to draft and classify replies.
- OpenAI (Whisper API) — receives voice message audio, only if you send one, solely to transcribe it.
- Google / Microsoft — the mailbox provider you already use; we access it through the account you connect.
We don't sell your data, run ads against it, or share it with data brokers. These processors are U.S.-based companies, so your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
5 How long we keep it
- Your mailbox token — until you disconnect it or delete your account.
- Drafts — until sent, rejected, or replaced by a newer draft for the same email.
- Per-contact writing patterns and the action log — until you delete your account.
- Voice audio — not retained beyond the transcription request itself.
6 Security
Your mailbox access token is stored encrypted, not in plain text. Your data is scoped strictly to your own account — no other user of the service, including on a different connected platform, can see your emails, drafts, or settings.
7 Your choices
- Disconnect your mailbox at any time, without deleting your account.
- Delete your account — permanently erases your data, including the action log. This can't be undone.
- Ask what we hold by contacting us at the address below.
8 Age
Reanswer isn't directed at children, and isn't intended for use by anyone under 16.
9 Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where required, let connected users know.
